Push notifications without the MAU meter.
Per OneSignal's published billing FAQ, free-plan accounts must stay under 1,000 monthly active users to send mobile push and in-app messages — effective September 1, 2026 for new accounts and October 1, 2026 for existing ones. Above the cap, those channels stop sending until you upgrade, the limit is counted org-wide across all of your apps on a trailing 30-day window, and Journeys that include push or in-app steps silently skip them.
If that cadence of pricing change is the reason you're here: Notifly meters a different thing. Subscribers are unlimited on every plan — the free one included — and the plan you pay for is set by how many notification events you trigger: 10,000 a month free, 50,000 on Pro at $19, 500,000 on Team at $149.

How do you migrate mobile push off OneSignal?
Notifly speaks FCM and APNs directly — you bring the same Firebase service account and APNs key you already use, register device tokens against subscribers via the API or the Capacitor and web-push SDKs, and trigger from one workflow engine that also covers email, SMS, chat, and the in-app inbox. Your bill then tracks how many notifications you send, not how many people opened your app that month.
What does OneSignal do that Notifly doesn't?
Honesty cuts both ways: OneSignal is a large, mature platform with polished campaign and marketing tooling, A/B testing, and a support organization sized to match. Notifly is a smaller product aimed at engineering teams wiring notifications into a codebase — the workflow engine, the API, and the in-app inbox are the product, and the free plan keeps activity history for 24 hours where OneSignal's keeps 30 days. If you want a marketing suite rather than notification infrastructure, OneSignal is the better fit.
